Kenya: Presidential postponed to Saturday in four western counties

The presidential election is postponed until Saturday in four counties in western Kenya, affected Thursday by violent clashes between opposition supporters and the police, announced the president of the Electoral Commission (IEBC).
“We have decided that in the areas affected (by the violence), which include the following counties: Homa Bay, Kisumu, Migori and Siaya (…), the commission has postponed the elections to Saturday, October 28,” Wafula said. Chebukati, in a press conference. Kenya has 47 counties.
