Weekend of August 15 loaded on the roads
On the A7 between Vienna and Valence, 12 August 2017
Traffic was difficult Saturday on the roads of France where Smart Bison sees red in the direction of departures as returns, and even black in Auvergne-Rhone-Alps and on the Mediterranean axis on this long weekend of August 15.
There were already 175 km of clogs throughout France at 09H00, the Rhone Valley being the most congested, according to Smart Bison. The peak of traffic is expected at midday.
So, around 9:00, a 22 km cap on the A7 put the patience of motorists to the test from Lyon to Marseille, at the height of Valence in the Drôme.
Still on the A7, it was necessary to count 2h55 to join Orange from Lyon, instead of 1h35 usually, and 2h40 instead of 1h45 from Orange to Narbonne, on the A9, indicated on its side Vinci Autoroutes.
Arrival in Bordeaux was also difficult, with 7 km of cap on the A10.
On Sunday, traffic problems are expected in the direction of returns, particularly in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and on the Mediterranean arc.
The day will however be ranked green at the national level in the sense of the returns as well as August 15, day of the feast of the Assumption.
