Kenya: Two people killed by bullets in night violence

Two people were killed in the night from Friday to Saturday in Kisumu and Siaya (west), in clashes with the police that broke out when President Uhuru Kenyatta was re-elected. Police and administrative sources.
In Kisumu, “we have one person killed and four others admitted to the hospital with gunshot wounds,” said Dr. Ojwang Lusi, head of health for the county.
In Siaya, a senior police official confirmed the death of a person: “We were unable to recover the body of this taxi-motorcycle driver because of the resistance of the protesters” on the spot.
